I'm surprised you haven't figured out by now that pretty much everyone hates the new channels. At the very least you could give us an option to use the old ones.

I have to say, I'm a YouTube partner and I absolutely despise the new Beta Channels. They're hideously ugly and extremely hard to navigate. I just don't understand why they would try and change something we've all gotten used to and enjoy.

I don't like this new YouTube blog at all. It seems like YouTube is moving everything to Google (blogger is by Google).
I don't want to post anonymously like this.
Since the blog is on blogger now, I can't use my YouTube account to post a comment and I don't want to use another Google account to post a comment. Instead of making things simpler, its now more complicated.
The new channel is great but I don't think YouTube can fix all the glitch and have it released to every YouTube member by July 15 unless all the glitch is already fixed behind the scenes and YouTube is just waiting for the 15th to update the channels and release it.

For those who doesn't think YouTube listens to us regarding the channel, you are wrong. You should've joined the YouTube beta blogs and helped improve the channel rather than complaining. This is not YouTube's fault. YouTube does listen. I have posted lots of suggestions and YouTube (Brian) has responded to my comments and other people's comments. They do a great job.
My only complaint is how YouTube moves things to Google such as this blog. I don't like having to sign into a separate accounts. Even though Google owns YouTube, the two sites should be separate.

Hey, here's an idea: Change everything back to the way it was in 2006, it was way better before google fucked everything up by trying to "improve" the site.

Why I hate the new You Tube beata 2.0? Beat 2.0 limitations. We want "Choice" not "Change" against our will. Some of us will lose the beautiful pages we been working in exchange for something plain and very limited. The new templates at first look interesting. But they suffocate creativity and indivisuality. The Old templates can continually evolve allowing us countless opprotunities for unlimited Creativity. The new channel design is a lot quicker for finding videos, too.

okay im tired of seeing my subscribers dissapear without a reason so i was thingking so before a youtube user unsubs he/she must say why they are unsubbing

God I hate it when websites do this. If it's not broken, don't fix it.
My 2 cents worth of ENHANCEMENT SUGGESTIONS:
1. On the VIDEO TIME RUN BAR at the bottom of the video preview screen: Could you place the numerical time counter with the “count-up” time on the top and the “Static-full” duration time on the bottom; therefore, making a space available for an “expand” (to full screen) button? Right now with your new layout the video view screen height/length is 4x7 1/8 in. as apposed to my desired view of 10x16 1/8 in. (that the blow-up/full-screen/expand button would provide) for playlist visual viewing pleasure without straining or having to go back and forth for each video in order to do this.
2. BACKGROUND PICTURE EDITING FEATURES: Can someone resize it so that the Kangal can be seen on both sides of the channel instead of just seeing it’s rear-end, tail and paws?
3. Can you make it possible for there to be a PLACE HOLDER in the playlist VIDEO BAR when in CHANNEL MODE so when one clicks on the video title under video view box on left that exits channel to YouTube platform (in being able to click on enlarge button to watch in full-screen mode) so that when one returns to their channel they won’t have to sroll down the playlist to relocate the already highlighted video to continue?
4. Can you add PAGE NUMBERS for ease instead of having to click on “Next” when in the “Favorites” editing screen so we can delete videos that have been removed due to violation use? (For those of us who like to keep our channels fresh and updated).
5. Is there any way to individually utilize ORDER SELECTION for “Friends” and “Subscriptions” to avoid double exposure on some artists?
What's so bad about the new beta channels? YouTube must have their reasons for the change. I'm liking the new design, and they're open to suggestions/improvements. And most importantly, this costs us NOTHING, and look at all we can do! I love YT, except for when they're lenient with animal abusers.
One suggestion, YT: When a channel is closed, it would be nice if we could remove it from our friends/subscribers list.
basically, all that people on youtube can do is complain and get mad. They don't realize that they get to be here for free, and nobody is making them stay here. Also, youtube is a company, and just like all company's, they need to make money.
Don't blame Youtube for all of this. Blame the advertisers, they are the one's forcing youtube to change so that they fit the advertisers qualifications. They are only trying to make money. If youtube doesn't make money, there will be no youtube.
To those of you who "hate" the beta channels, I bet %75 of you haven't even used them and watched videos on them for more than 10 minutes. If you actually USE them and not just b**** like everybody else just because everybody else is doing it, you will like them. All they need is a bit of getting used to.
If 'all' of Youtube hates beta channels, then why have over a million people switched? Including lots of the big guys (yupp including Smosh).
So, stop complaining, because that's all the Youtube population knows how to do. Youtube is actually making it better, except for the censoring.
This has nothing to do with this topic, but Can I suggest that we can change the color of our subscription button, like when people subscribe it is any color we want to choose.
