Use Action on YouTube to Drive Action Off YouTube
For a few months, we've been testing a feature for partners that lets them add "Call-to-Action" overlays to their YouTube videos to help them drive traffic to other websites. Many have used the feature in creative ways, such as collecting signatures or driving song downloads.
Today we are making Call-to-Action overlays more broadly available by launching the feature as an option for anyone who uses Promoted Videos. Just go to ads.youtube.com and you'll quickly and easily be able to both increase views of your content and drive traffic to an off-YouTube website at the same time.

I'm a little confused. I didn't see anything different in those two videos. They just looked like regular videos, one with an annotation. Could someone please explain what I'm supposed to be seeing?

I also love the new channels, and been using it in beta since super seekrit, so no complaints here!
Stop trying to drive the Beta Channels announcement off the Youtube Blog. Hiding Brian Glick's stupid pathetic mistake of a beta channel will not stop Youtube's users from protesting the lack of freedom that Glick is giving in choosing one's channel design.
Freedom is on our side. Freedom of choice is the way to go, not forcing the piece of crap called the beta down our throats.

Why not make a Call-to-action to make Youtube finally addres the real issues on Youtube. Like false DMCA complaints, false Copyright infringement claims (Please go for a "innocent untill proven guilty stance, not the current "Guilty until proven innocent" stance), votebotting, crappy commenting system.
