IS This why the video responses feature isn't working automatically anymore?? People who are already partners or getting tons of hits don't care to approve video responses, and it's one of the only ways some of us have of promoting our videos... Shame, YouTube. Seems greedy.

its a nice thought that we could actually get paid for getting lots of views but then again, if there is a price per click, chances are we wont get as many.

I honestly don't like this slow transition from a site for sharing creative, thoughtful, and good videos to TV. TV has commercials and cost to even get 10 seconds on. YouTube is free, just like the internet has freedom, and I'd hate to see the day when that freedom is gone.

This is a good idea. You need to also make new tabs so people can find the new professional content on the site like the TV shows and the movies. The only reason why I know about this stuff is I read new articles about what Youtube is doing. I bet hard no ones nows you have full episode of Star Track and 90210 and other shows and now you have full length movies. You need to ad new tabs to the main 4 tabs.
You should still offer partner services to users like digital distrubtion through tunecore or CDBaby for musicians and merchandising through the number of sites that do it.

Hmmm, it seems like a great idea ta first glance. But theoretically, you are just paying for views. So they may put your vid on the side of the results, but you have to pay for each time it is clicked. I think they should have another way, like earning points by watching videos. Correct me if I'm wrong about how this works.

Probably you can also try letting all those big brand name from products as well as movie production company to place for Sponsored Videos which they want to promote their products and service to our videos that we uploaded. The more we the user allowed it to appear on our video the more YouTube charge them as they are the big spender. Later YouTube can share 50% of the profit with us the user. Win win situation as we are the content provider and traffic generator and it's almost guarantee view rate for the sponsor, as majority of the video are created within our social life and those people around us will definitely watch our videos. When our friend and family watch our videos then they too might click on what being sponsored...

why would you have to pay for all of the views you get? if you get a million views, that'd be a quarter of a million dollars if the view was set at 25 cents??? wow. so thats how youtube makes money.

I like your marketing style using the youtube as the primary media, easy and user friendly advertisement may bring a lot a viewer and interested client, but the problem is how can you assure that all of the interested are really really interested, that they are not making fun or playing around with you, I can suggest that you also use the what so called online background search, with that it will help you to determine the type of people you are dealing with.

I need to be able to upload a JPG image for my thumbnail, because it is impossible to insert an image in the right spot of my video so I can set the thumbnail. I need help on that. It is absolutely impossible to expect that this hit and miss trick would work, i.e placing the thumbnail in 0.75, 0.5 or 0.25 of the video. If we pay for advertising the videos, we need absolute control on this critical piece of the video, the one that appears on the search. Youtube must adapt to the clients, not the clients adapt to Youtube.
