New "My Videos" & Subscription Center
Optimizations included in the beta version of "My Videos" are now live for all users, along with even more cool features to make managing your videos even easier.
NEW "MY VIDEOS" & SUBSCRIPTION CENTER
The YouTube video management tools have been improved! Now you can manage all of your videos (uploads, favorites, subscriptions, etc.) in one centralized place. It's easy to quickly add multiple videos to playlists, favorites, and quicklists by clicking the "add to" button. Searching across all of your videos is now possible, as is filtering them via title, time, date added, views and rating. You can also choose to view your videos in a list, grid, or condensed format (displaying up to 20 videos per page). Playlist management and sorting functions are now more streamlined, and include a collapsible menu for editing details.

In terms of uploads, it would REALLY be Groovy if all the videos that were uploaded in STEREO - stayed in Stereo once they were processed by YouTube...........
This is especially important for music videos.
There is a way to keep them in stereo, but overall most formats will be converted to Mono........
If possible, please program the uploader to keep all formats in stereo - for some it is more preferable to create and upload in certain formats.......
Also, the INSIGHT was a brilliant idea - if possible, could you give even more detailed stats?

Is there a possibility of making the list of subscriptions in the new subscription center collapsible? Maybe even group-able?
All in all, I'm a fan of both betas (especially the three different options for the visual organization "My Videos")
In the new "My Videos" area, when editing a video, and setting it to Private, it is missing the controls that previously allowed the user to select which contacts the video should be shared with. This is a big one for those of us using the private broadcast features frequently.

The new My Favorites just seems to mix up things unnessecarily and most of the Sort By options are pointless. I'm glad the Grid option is there but the default sorting by Date Added is odd.

all this new stuff is useless if it does not work!!! won't save quicklist, it says the quicklist has been saved but when I go there - nada! can't find any way to play the playlists.

Please fix the playlist spamming bug. Many are getting sent the same playlist thousands of times. The spamming attack that just happened from Unknown283ii included a pornographic icon from a removed video.

I truly don't like it. One reason is that If I click on the video from the uploads section, it doesn't bring me to the video, it brings me to the edit video section. I liked the old way better. Also from the uploads sections, it doesnt tell you how many ratings you have. Please change it! Thanks!
Good intentions, and I like the look (I noticed it yesterday), but it just plain broke most of the older features the site again. You pick the ball up, but keep dropping it...

I'm experiencing an issue with my Favorites section on my channel: I place a check in the box of a video in my recent favorites and select Add to Playlist, but following the click of Playlist it opens a little box which says, "Loading Playlist" with an animation to the left of the text and it never loads the Playlist! I'm able to click Playlist and navigate through my playlist but I'm unable to get the Playlist to load from the Favorites area when I wish to Add Favorites to a particular section in my Playlist. I didn't know where else to report this, I'm not a newbie, I checked the current site issues and didn't see this issue listed, I read documentation and build/work with a good majority of my programs from source, so I'm not one to post issues like this blindly without sniffing around. Please send me a comment, YouTube devs, if you'd like me to discuss this with you and my setup particulars. It was working before the recent change. On a lighter note, I enjoy the way you've changed the Favorites/Playlist area (excluding the current non-functional Add Favorites to Playlist issue I'm reporting) so I may actually see the longer strings of text in title for more descriptive playlists when navigating through my channel's edit area. Thank you for making this particular change, which I had suggested, as before when I wanted to move videos it was very difficult with playlists using longer descriptions of similar content.

i am finding it absolutely useless what a waste of time i can't get any of my faves into a quick list got to search for them all again what a mess you have made of it much prefered how it was there was nothing wrong with it, just more rubbish to try n sort out, please put it back to how it was this is total sh$£e thanks geoff

they are nice new features. Yet a couple of vidz i uploaded appeared twice in the last four days, one denotion of the vid would apprear "not available" while another copy would be ok, I decided to delete the available one (as it was the only one I could click on) and re upload to alleviate the problem. But it didn't. The secondary copy of the video (one labeled "not available") still appears...anyone else having this problem?

None of the features are working. I friend a person, they friend me, but we can't see each others private videos that we invite each other to see. Youtube has made this way more complicated than necessary.

Okay, if one or more of the videos that I add to my playlists gets deleted, I can't see that any more.
I don't want to click into a link, only to see "This video has been removed..."
Also, now that you have the # things at the end of the URL on the playlist videos, I can never open them in a new tab.
CAN I PLEASE HAVE THE OPTION, AT LEAST, TO REVERT TO THE OLD VERSION?

Why don't you have a favourite videos RSS feed? At the moment you can keep track of other users favourites within YouTube but not outside of it. I, for example would use the feed on my homepage and convert it to HTML.
When is GAMING category going to be (re)introduced? You can select it in the edit video properties but not in the main videos page...
I don't like the fact that when I click the title of any of my uploaded vids in the uploaded video's section, it goes directly to the "edit video" section instead of going right to the video, this also makes it difficult to simply right click the same title and copy the "direct link" to the video to give to someone, so I have to watch the vid thus bumping the views up by one, so please consider fixing this, also the raw file is also being cut off, so please attend to fixing this as well

videos are not playing continously as they used to. And they are not adding in Quicklist when I click on Add to button in playlist. Older version was better, newer needs much attention.
Major problems with this new version of YouTube. Not enjoying it at all.
Playlists have no direct play feature. I use to be able to right-click a link in my Favorites/Playlists, open a new tab and be directely at the video to enjoy. It doesn't do that anymore, it just opens another page with the full list and then you have to click the link again.
Not an efficient system. Needs more work.
Do NOT like this new version of YouTube. I am also not enjoying it at all. Playlists no longer have the feature of rearranging the video order within each playlist. Can't right click on vids in playlist to watch them. Not to mention the repeated assault by captcha verification every damn time I want to comment on a video...Hate it hate it hate it. Change it back to the older version please.

Because YouTube See's More Activity And Their Like "Wow...Since These Changes We've Had So Many More Hits!" It's Fucked Up. But It Makes Sense. So I Say We All Should Start Visiting YouTube A Little Less And Hit Them Where It Hurts. It seems I'm not the only one having problems with this new update. You would think it's common sense for the favorites page to be arranged at the order it was added to favorites instead of the date it was published on the site. It's actually harder to manage my favorites this way instead of easier.

I hate the new format. The old one was much more useful and easier to work with. Please change it back or at least give us the option of using the old format!
Has anybody else experienced changing thumbnails? I've noticed that I'm not being given the same options for thumbnails as I was before the update.
I've even noticed that the thumbnail options for older videos have changed.
It's my opinion that the layout for the big thumbnail view is better in the original Subscription Center than in the new one; however, it's my observation that the "New" link still doesn't just list the videos you haven't seen which is a carry over problem from the original Subscription Center. I'm still using the http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center link because the layout is cleaner, and has compressed the information much better. I did notice that in the big thumbnail layout you did add the name of the person that made the video, but it still looks worse than it does on the Subscription Center page, and if the video info layout was the same as it is on the Subscription Center page it would actually take up less space than it currently does.

I dislike that you can no longer right click and open a video in a new window from your favourites. When I am on a slower loading internet connection I like to open several videos from my favourites at once, in new tabs, and then pause and let them all load. That way I can wait a few minutes and then have 5 or so songs already cued up and ready to play.

I can handle the new design (although I preferred the old one) but find it deeply inconvenient that A) as has been already mentioned, you can no longer open videos in new tabs from within your account and B) unless I'm just being blinder than usual, there's no longer any option to create a new playlist directly from the My Playlists page.
Those are pretty glaring annoyances; sort them out and I, for one, will be less inclined to petty irritation when simply trying to manage my account.

Bah. Even this compacts everything into one huge paragraph. Not everything works in small chunks, you know. Think about us verbose people.
Ugh. I had a feeling that the old "My Videos" list was doomed. This is really annoying.
One thing that really annoys me that hasn't been mentioned yet is that if a video description is made of several paragraphs, it just combines it into one huge nigh-unreadable chunk of text. Most of my video comments are several paragraphs long, and I usually distinguish them by looking for the beginnings of paragraphs.
Of course, what really makes things harder for me is that there's no direct link to the video itself, but rather, only to the edit page. I have to click on the list of comments and then to the video for the direct link. The edit page is needlessly complex; I don't use Annotations, tell location information, the box for the description box is tiny, and contains a video player I don't need.
Maybe I'm just weird like this, but really, for the people who've gotten used to the old system and wrk within it, this isn't necessarily more convenient.
SERIOUSLY: If you make a beta, and it turns out to be unpopular, cancel the beta. Testing it out is the point of a beta, isn't it?
Please put the URL and embedding html codes back on the My Videos section. That feature seems to be totally missing. If I access it off the video page, it adds an erroneous "view."

I have 200 videos in one of my playlists, and I'm always modifying the list. With the new format, if I want to remove a video from one of the middle pages, I have to go through every page from the beginning to get there. Super lame.
Attention everyone reading this page: I made a video about one of the problems on the new updates. See the video "A bug with the Quicklist that needs to be fixed" I hope the YouTube staff will also see this video, I hope that video will get enough views so the problem can be fixed.

I have some bones to pick with Youtube and I don't know where else to pick them. So here they are. (1) The account drop menus kinda suck. I think they could be displayed more logically. (2) Wrong messages displayed on homepage bug has still not been resolved. (3) Certain account and playlist settings are not saved after logging off. (4) Will there ever be a search feature for custom playlists and favorites? (5) Saved videos descriptions are not as descriptive as they used to be. i.e. They don't depict the user who uploaded the video and video unavailable messages anymore. (6) Unable to open saved videos in new tabs. Ok...I'm done typing.

Love the changes, especially the ability to see 20 videos in one screen at a time. Very convenient, especially for people like me that like to change things often on my videos
those are great improvements...now if you can only you can fix the discontent with the new channel design
